Four Boys Fined and Jailed After Sunday Disturbances

Four Clear Fork youths faced separate trials before Judge John Lambert in Oceana. Neil Blankenship and Bill Wright pleaded guilty to destroying Willam Allen’s property at The Happy Teenagers, leading to $25 fines and 30 days in jail. Danny Short and Bobby Wright were found guilty of intoxication and disturbing the peace after a day of nuisance.

Youth 16 Held On Breakin Enterin Charge

A 16yearold Coal Mountain youth is held in Wyoming County Jail on charges of breaking and entering the Island Creek Coal Co Store at Coal Mountain Saturday night. He confessed to stealing a .38 caliber revolver eight cartons for cigarettes and shells. Another juvenile was questioned but released. Sheriff Bert Short said the boy entered through the trapdoor.
