Brick 3500 Year Old Pharaoh Bricks Found as Fertilizer
A 3500 year old brick from a palace attributed to Merneptah, unearthed by Dr. Clarence Stanley Fisher of the University of Pennsylvania, contains unusually straw rich material. Farmers nearby reportedly use these bricks as soil fertilizer though brick strength fades in damp soil. The find challenges Merneptah as the Pharaoh of the Exodus, suggesting Amenophis IV preceded him.
