NAOMA Mrs Nathan Ramsey of Naoma served as a delegate to the 20th United Session of the West Virginia annual Methodist Church conference held in the first week of June at West Virginia Wesleyan College Buckhannon. She traveled with her daughter Margaret Marie and visited her brother the Rev Sherman Pelky and his wife. Pelky is a student at Wesleyan and pastor of the Hodgeville Circuit.

Three Injured In Car Accident Near Fayetteville
Oak Hill reports a head on crash one mile south of Fayetteville on Route 21 left E N Curry Pineville and Cecil Lusk Cedar Grover with minor injuries. The 1957 car carrying the Currys was hit when Lusk’s late model car pulled across the road to reach a restaurant. Curry suffered a cut on his arm and face and his wife had scratches and bruises. Oak Hill State Police Detachment Sgt H D Gibbs led the investigation.

Car Wreck In Welch Sends V Short To Hospital
Verlin Short of Baileysville was rushed to a Welch hospital after a truck wreck on the Pineville Baileysville road near Brenton. Short suffered forehead lacerations and was examined by Dr E M Wilkerson before admission. The crash occurred around 745 pm, the truck rolled three times, and a witness said it plowed the ditch line for about 150 yards. Damages totaled several hundred dollars. investigation was led by Constable Harold Hatfield and Andrick.
