Independent businesses urged to study selling to compete
Large firms pursue revved up selling via sales analysts training and pep bulletins while independents with smaller scale must adopt a five point program. Learn selling basics, train staff with regular meetings and materials, master product selling points, establish incentives, and back up with advertising. Regional wartime surplus fabric sale and mass buying trends for auto dealers illustrate broader push to improve selling.
