Barges Break From Dock Sinkings Leave Three Missing
A fleet of 50 coal barges broke from the Appalachian Power plant dock on the Ohio River near Point Pleasant West Virginia. Two barges sank and three were missing but believed sunk. Coast Guard officers recovered 45 barges with no injuries and no bridge damage.
