Measuring the church through threefold scriptural test
The Beckley First Christian Church sermon by Rev. A H Wilson argues the church is measured by its program fidelity of members and community influence not by building size or wealth. He outlines worship sincerity fellowship reverence and service as key criteria and notes the churchs growth and leadership. He also recounts the churchs 1899 origin in Beckley and Smiths leadership history.
