Two Killed On State Roads
Charleston reported two West Virginia highway fatalities Tuesday raising the yearly toll to 182. Martha Russell, 70, of St. Albans died after a car collision with a truck carrying hot asphalt, suffering burns and dying in a Charleston hospital. G Williams Spaniel Jr., 45, of Dunbar was killed when her car left the road near Frametown Braxton County and crashed into a ditch.

Advance Party to Camp Prince for Bridge Training
An advance party of the 100th Engineer Company will depart Ft Belvoir Virginia Monday for Camp Prince to set up for a month of summer training with three Ft Belvoir units from the 91st Engineer Battalion. Company A trains July 7 to 16, B July 14 to 23, C July 21 to 30. The 100th Engineer has been at Camp Prince previously but returned to Ft Belvoir in 1957 due to funding cuts.
