Boy dives to save four motorists in drowning plunge
ZEUBLON NC UP I reports Milton Reid sixteen year old ignored his inability to swim and jumped into a river Friday night to save four drowning motorists after their car plowed through a guard rail and sank in ten feet of water. The five victims were James Davis Watkins the driver Beatrice Baker Lonnie Hinton and McArthur Ferrell. A search found the youths body Saturday and authorities described the act as impulsive.
