Oldest Brakeman Killed by Train at Quinnimont

Russell Ky funeral services set for William Oscar Archer 72 longtime brakeman on the Huntington division of the Chesapeake and Ohio Railway killed at Quinnimont yesterday He had been a brakeman since 1904 and worked 56 years for the railway and served as secretary treasurer of his local Brotherhood of Railway Trainmen Triplets occur once in about 8800 births.

Fayetteville Library Room Planned to Honor Hopkins Will

Fayetteville plans a library room in the Memorial Building as compliance with Mrs Laura Hopkins will. She bequeathed about 5500 for a youth library project, with Fayetteville matching funds. Herndon Youth Held for Stabbing Father

Denny Shell, about 19 of Herndon, was arrested after allegedly stabbing his father Waller Shell, about 45, yesterday afternoon. State police report the suspect, a coat loader at the Lamar Colliery mine, was found intoxicated at his father’s home. The elder Shell sustained a stomach wound treated by Dr. Frank Penn at Garwood.
