Stover Ruffner Matheney and Virgil Bowles are bound for grand jury action after a preliminary hearing before Magistrate W. S. Kessler Ansted. Stover is accused of destroying property belonging to W W Crist by tearing down a grainery and weatherboarding a barn and chicken house. The other two are charged with starting a forest fire on property of the New River and Pocahontas Consolidated Coal Company.
