Wyoming Sportsmen Petition for Two-Day Deer Season in County
In Fayette County a two day deer season was urged by Wyoming County sportsmen. A countywide meeting in Pineville backed the request, naming W. F. Diamond as chair and C. L. Cook as secretary, with clubs from Marianna Mullens McGraws Baileysville and Pineville supporting open hunting and appointing honorary game protectors to curb illegal doe killings. The message asks the State Conservation Commission to include Wyoming County in the southern counties open for a two day season next December.
