Mrs Roxie L Halstead aged 72 widow of H A Halstead and a Raleigh county pioneer died at her home near Eccles after kidney and heart disease. Born November 7 1859 on Stephens Branch she was a member of Mr Tabor Baptist Church with one son and three daughters surviving Frank Halstead J D Lacy Walter Marcum and Mrs Frank Sims. Funeral tomorrow at 2 pm from residence with Rev E Gibson Davis officiating burial in Snuffer cemetery Rose Funeral Home in charge. Active pallbearers listed with honorary names.
