Beckley to host second Antique Show and Sale in April
Beckley Civic Department of the Woman's Club votes to sponsor a three day Antique Show and Sale in April at the Beckley Hotel Ballroom. Last year's debut drew about 1700 visitors with antique dealers from surrounding states and West Virginia. Mrs E W Williams projects chairman reports the event's success. Mrs Dennis M Leary Jr was general chairman of the first show. Mrs John Scott of Oak Hill serves as first vice president of the West Virginia club chapter.

Mrs. Sam Scarafino of Crab Orchard seeks treatment at Beckley Hospital for a fractured pelvis from a fall. Mrs. J. Sharp returns home after visiting relatives in Lexington Kentucky.
