Missionaries Bring Services to Mullens Utah duo in town for two months
Two Mormon missionaries from Utah are in Mullens for about two more months. Elder Stephen Darsley of Hyrum and Elder Zeno Parry of Murray conduct Sunday services at 11 30 a m at Black Eagle Community Church. Darsley 20 has been in Mullens since December 9 after serving in Chattanooga and studying accounting at Utah State University. Parry 21 has been in Mullens since October and will return home in February 1962 after stints in Louisville Bristol Gallatin and Lebanon. The two-year full time mission ends with their return to lay church membership. The church has over a million members worldwide with 8 000 full time missionaries serving without pay.

Two Jaeger Men Caught In B and E Attempt
Two brothers from Jaeger in McDowell County, Donald Harry Rambo and James Clarence Rambo, were arrested around 4 a m Sunday while attempting to rob the Carlisle store of the New River Co at Oakwood. They were jailed on breaking and entering charges after witnesses reported a vault was pried open. Deputies, a state trooper, and an Oak Hill patrolman helped capture them before they fled.
