Oak Hill High School groups plan a parent talent show on January 24 or 31 with proceeds to benefit the Gilmer B. Bobbitt memorial scholarship and the PTA and Honor Society. Mission Topic Set for Circle Meetings in Fayetteville
The Woman's Society of Christian Service at Fayetteville Methodist Church set the year’s mission topic Japan Begins Again for all four WSCS circles. Pax Man Hurt In Car Wreck
Pax Man Pax William B Stover of Pax remains a patient at Oak Wil Hospital for injuries after the car he rode in with Cal Pierson left the highway about one mile from Fayetteville at 12 10 am Wednesday. The car, owned by Leonard Williams of Pax, was badly damaged. State Trooper C C McCallister said the investigation is ongoing and arrests have been made.
