Second Potato Shipment Expected in Fayetteville
The Fayetteville area expects a second shipment of government surplus potatoes this week for distribution to needy families. County Clerk Lacy Neely says dried eggs and milk may accompany the load to cover freight costs, with funds likely needed beyond the remaining 105 dollars after the first 18 ton shipment. Distribution will be handled by the Department of Public Assistance upon proof of need.

Kaymoor miner Carl Cutright waived to the grand jury Tuesday on charges of assaulting W. L. Booth. Cutright posted a $500 bond and claimed he is a 100 percent union man.
