Federal Judge Charles F. Paul of Wheeling died suddenly at a Wheeling hospital aged 62. An autopsy was ordered to determine the cause. A Wheeling native, Paul practiced law 34 years before Eisenhower appointed him to the U S District Court for the Northern District of West Virginia in 1960 succeeding Herbert Boreman. He was born April 26, 1902, married Mary Stewart, and is survived by two daughters Mrs John D. Broadhurst and Mrs John A. Welty, plus several grandchildren. Funeral arrangements were incomplete.
