Alexander Rites Slated Thursday in Oak Hill
Funeral services for Walter Emmett Alexander aged 82 will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. in the Church of God Oak Hill with ministers Mil ton Robinson and E W Lambert officiating. Burial follows at High Lawn Memorial Park. He died Tuesday at his home after an illness of about weeks. Born May 8 1874 in Batesville Va he was a retired farmer and Oak Hill Brethren Church member. Survivors include wife Willie Brown Alexander a sister Nellie Collins three sons Addison Ernest and James Alexander and 13 grandchildren. The body lies at Tyree Funeral Home Oak Hill and will be moved to the church one hour before the service. Nephews will serve as pallbearers.

Men Waive Hearings On Copper Wire Theft
