Four Fayette County residents were injured when a pickup, a trailer truck, and a Greyhound bus collided on Main Street near the overhead bridge in Oak Hill around 6 46 pm. W G Gaines of Buckhannon drove the bus. two hospitalized victims were Mae Brown and Harvey Cunsingham. Others treated and released included Richard Coleman and Aileen James.

Oak Hill June 24 19— John James Jones a British Navy veteran who served 24 1 2 years died at the home of his daughter Mrs Dorothy Sprading of Glen Jean Born in England March 13 1857 he is survived by his wife Mrs Mary Agnes Jones a son Christopher Jones of England two daughters Mrs Ruby Abelberger Dayton Ohio and Mrs Spradling four grandchildren and four great grandchildren Funeral services will be held at Union Church Glen Jean Friday at 2 p m with several ministers officiating Burial will follow at Highlawn Memorial Park The body will be removed from Collins Funeral Home to the home of Mrs Spratting today at 4 p m

A 12 year old Negro boy, Eugene Carlisle of Hemphill, was admitted to a Welch hospital with a bullet wound in the hip after an apparent close range shooting along a railroad path to Hemphill.
