Williamson Proposed For Marshall Branch
The Mingo County Board of Education favors Williamson High School as a potential site for a Marshall University branch. Superintendent J Hershel Morgan cites enrollment over 1000 and availability after 4 pm for college courses. State Board of Education must approve a Marshall county plan. If approved, it would be Marshall's first branch and West Virginia would gain its second two year college after Parkersburg.
