Prisoner Recaptured After Escape Attempt

Negroes Jailed For Burglary
A hearing for Grover Napper and Roy Thompson, both colored, accused of stealing about $90 of clothing, money, and watches from the Francis wash house last Monday, will be held before Squire Herman West at Rhodell this afternoon. Napper was arrested yesterday by Wyoming county officers. Thompson was nabbed at Rhodell this morning. Conservator G. O. Mills says they broke into the white men's wash house at midnight Monday. Mills went to Pineville to return Napper for the hearing. They face charging with breaking and entering and grand larceny.
