Judge Ashworth Praises Jurors for Citizenship
Judge Ben H. Ashworth praised jurors for their citizenship as he discharged all but two juries slated for upcoming cases. He called jury service a vital privilege and noted justice comes best through the jury system, contrasting it with Russia behind the Iron Curtain. The Lilly vs Toney case and a condemnation case were to finish the November docket. Porch addition approved for Elizabeth Akers at 1921 by-Pass after recorder’s office action.
