Several routes and areas faced unscheduled holidays as buses were stuck. Clear Fork High School resumed after a power outage holiday. Beckley College operated with evening classes. Winterfun Inc Bald Knob Ski Slopes opened with two to four feet of snow, offering half-price grand opening costs and expecting visitors from Charleston, Huntington, and possibly Ohio. Highways to the slopes were cleared and open for travel.
