Chamber Directors Postpone Meeting in Oak Hill
A special Oak Hill Chamber of Commerce board meeting set for yesterday has been postponed to December 12. Secretary Owen Rickard announced. The group will meet at 1 p.m. to plan Christmas decorations for Oak Hill. Also noted is Huntington meeting news with West Virginia Municipalities officials. Four Southern states Carolina, Georgia and Alabama accounted for more than two thirds of the total value of board woven toads in cotton manufacturing in the United States.

Pineville The Women's Society of Christian Service of the Methodist Church will sponsor a bazaar today at 7 p.m. in the Pigghy Wiggly Store. Vet Bags 250 Pound deer on Pinnacle Creek
Samuel N. Hale of Crab Orchard bagged a 250 pound nine point deer on Pinnacle Creek near Pineville. A former Army combat engineer, Hale hunted 15 deer in Germany in 1945 and supplied meat for days. His party included Gerald Neal, his brother-in law, of Wyoming. Hale kept the head hide and feet, sharing the rest among the men.
