Blocking End Must Have Speed and Strength in Pro Football
A tight end embodies the prototype for professional football players combining blocking power with receiving agility. Weight between 235 and 250 pounds suits the role, and he must be fast enough to exploit zone defenses and catch passes at varied angles. Stars like Ted Kwalick and Charlie Sanders illustrate the position's peak talents.
