Legs Injured In Plant Accident At Briquett Works
William Mosley, 24, of Glen Rogers, suffered contusions to both legs when his limbs caught in a machine at the Briquett plant where he works. While operating a press his legs were crushed between a motor and a speed box. Only three persons were fined in police court last night and another was given a week's reprieve. Tolley Munroe was fined $10 and costs for gambling in a Prince street apartment Saturday night. William Eads and Russel McClung were fined $5 each for being drunk. Eads forfeited bond, and the other two men paid their fines. Hunter Larkins, charged with operating the Prince street gambling house where 27 were arrested, will appear for trial next Wednesday night.
