Leonard Drake, 42, a Eugene bailiff and one of 15 surviving heart transplant recipients, rose Sunday and ate breakfast in a chair. He received Marine Cpl. Larry Smith's heart from Stockton, California, at Stanford Medical Center Friday and doctors say he progresses satisfactorily with stable blood pressure and pulse.
