Grandparents Turned Star Makers In New York Film Bid
Tony Scotti a two year unemployed New York actor saw his grandparents in Newark become advertising stars after a quick photo shoot for a gelatin commercial. The 69 year old grandmother and 71 year old grandfather were cast to play a vivid Italian family at a giant dinner. The project led to more modeling work for the grandmother and a rising film opportunity for Tony as the second male lead in Valley of the Dolls at Fox.
