West Virginia Suspect Dies By Own Action After Shooting
A 26 year old Mingo County man sought in a Saturday night shooting of Juanita Haley, 43, near Gates allegedly killed himself at his mother's home. Carl Whitt Jr. was found with a 22 caliber pistol near his body in Williamson hours after police linked him to the attack. Haley was hospitalized in poor condition. REDMOND Wash UPI Donald Paul Sanford a 34 year old gym teacher at Garfield High School cried that he saved another boy’s life and killed his own two children after veering to avoid cyclists on a 22 foot wide road. With his wife and three other child passengers they plunged down a 6 foot embankment into a pine tree. Stephen 7 survived. Donald 9 and Mary 2 died. The other cyclist Steve Schuster 13 survived.
