W A Thornhill Democrat candidate for county prosecutor will present Judge A D Eston of Beckley as a candidate for supreme court judge. Thornhill had a proxy from Prosecuting Attorney Clarence W Meadows to make Preston's nominating speech. The convention will select two supreme court nominees, adopt a platform, and launch a Democratic drive for November.
