Increased Costs Boost Science Hall Estimate at Marshall
Huntington reports Harry Keith, comptroller, said preliminary plans for Marshall College science hall show a cost rise of over 400000 to 1444000 dollars. The project, approved by the State Board of Control, follows 1944 funding of 800000 with a prior estimate of 1012000, reflecting higher construction and material costs. Captain Matthews notes Lt. Cummings is on leave for flying time in Cincinnati and will return Saturday. Captain Baer is reported improved after pneumonia, with a four month return to duty.
