Raleigh County sheriff's deputies search for 15yearold Raymond Allen Jr. of Crab Orchard who vanished from home since Sunday morning. He is about five feet seven inches tall, 128 pounds, with dark brown hair and eyes, wearing black pegged trousers, a black nylon jacket, a black silk shirt, black oxfords, and a black sweater trimmed in white. His mother Myrtle Lamb reports he took loose change from home while family attended church. State Police say they have not been notified of the disappearance.

Logan County Teen Dies After Wyoming County Crash
Rita Aldridge sixteen of Mallory died at Man Memorial Hospital from injuries from a 9 30 p m Monday crash on Big Huff Creek Wyoming County. Kaye Atkins sixteen and Charles Dowden eighteen of Taplin were injured and admitted to hospital. Ronnie West sixteen of Taplin was uninjured. Dowden was driving a 1953 model car owned by James Cox Man. Officers Bert Short and Roy Aliff said the group drove up Big Huff Creek turned at Cyclone up Main Huff Creek then back down the dirt road to the ball diamond. The car turned sideways, hit a bridge, and four youths were brought to Dr R C Hatfield Oceana then to Man hospital. Aldridge's body remained at McNeely Funeral Home Man with arrangements incomplete.

Charleston AP reports State Police Sgt Willard E Butch Webb based at Barboursville will retire on June 21 on a non service connected disability basis. His retirement award equals 3 percent annually of his total police salary. Webb enlisted May 1 1939 and will have lengthy service at retirement. He served in US Navy during World War II and led Beckley Detachment before transfer. He also served in Kanawha Fayette and McDowell counties.
