Struck by Lightning at Front Street Theatre
In Baltimore yesterday afternoon, lightning struck the Front Street Theatre during a stage reversal. The roof tore apart, gas pipes carried the blaze, and foot lights flashed. Several actors were stunned but not seriously hurt. Also, a Baltimore & Ohio Express train derailed near Relay House, the engine damaged and a baggage car smashed. one brakeman injured due to a switch key withdrawal.
