A violent wind and rain storm swept across northern Texas and southern Oklahoma on Saturday night killing at least eighteen people. Kemp Oklahoma was said to be wiped out, with 15 to 20 fatalities reported and widespread damage along the Red River valley. Muskogee and Wilsonville areas reported injuries as tents and structures collapsed, while weather damage extended into Nebraska and eastern Colorado with additional property losses and no confirmed casualties.
