Supervisors to vote on Adams county road plan today
Adams county proposes a $1 180 000 system of state aid hard roads to be funded by bonds with the state covering half cost under the Tice road law. The plan envisions 300 miles of concrete gravel waterbound macadam bituminous and oiled roads to connect all farms to passable routes year round. The board also revises rules and debates bridge aid limits while naming a new chairman and a poor farm committee.

The People Should Decide Bond Issue
The board of supervisors faces a decision on approving the state aid road committee report to place a $1,180,000 bond issue before voters. County highway head L. L. Boyer urges letting the people decide, arguing the electorate should not be deprived of the right to vote on the tax burden. If the board blocks the report, supporters say the public will be deprived of a voice.
