Illinois College Burned Amid Heavy Losses
A major fire last Thursday destroyed the main building and northern wing of Illinois College, with about 25000 dollars in damage. The library and Sigima PY Society collection perished in the southern wing while many student possessions were lost. insurance had lapsed due to a missed notice. Students displaced will be housed locally as repairs and temporary accommodations are arranged.
