The Dominion advertises leases for coal mining in Manitoba Saskatchewan Alberta Yukon Northwest Territories and part of British Columbia. Leases run twenty one years at one dollar per acre with a 2560 acre cap per applicant. Applications must be made in person with a $5 fee and royalty of five cents per ton.
