John McMillan holder of Free Miner’s Certificate No 84510 gives notice in Skeena District that sixty days hence he will apply to the Mining Recorder for a Certificate of Improvements to obtain a Crown Grant for the Ajax mineral claim located on Harriet Harbor, Moresby Island. Action under section 387 must be commenced before the certificate issue.

Dominion coal mining leases offered across western Canada
The Dominion offers twenty one year coal mining leases in Manitoba Saskatchewan Alberta Yukon Northwest Territories and part of British Columbia at one dollar per acre per year with a maximum 2560 acres per applicant. Applications must be in person with a five dollar fee refundable if rights are unavailable. Royalties are five cents per ton of merchantable coal with annual sworn returns. Surface rights may be purchased at ten dollars per acre. Contact Secretary of the Interior Ottawa or Dominion Lands agents for details.
