Tucumcari man arraigned on murder charge in fatal shooting
Joshua Brazier 30 is jailed without bond on first degree murder and meth possession after Bryan Youman 19 died from a head gunshot Sept 4. Brazier allegedly pointed a loaded pistol at Youman and claimed the shooting was an accident while investigators pursued a multi theory open murder count.

Music series pitched to tax board for Tucumcari
Tucumcari leaders heard a proposal from Vincent Chavez of La Tena Media for a national music TV series Bands of Enchantment to be filmed largely in Tucumcari. Eight to ten 30 minute episodes would air on New Mexico PBS and on RFD TV, featuring New Mexico acts and acts such as Asleep At The Wheel and Ryan Bingham.
