Commissioner Christopher Arias urged amending city ordinances to address drag racing on streets including First Main and Seventh as he expressed concern for public safety. The Logan Municipal Schools board approved a letter urging Harding County to fix Trigg Road due to safety concerns for residents and the school bus contractor. The letter notes potential funding through the Infrastructure Capital Improvements Plan and Community Development Block Grants, and mentions the county’s ongoing staffing limits in road maintenance. Tom Humble was sworn in as a board appointee.
