Warren Frost of the Greater Tucumcari Economic Development Corp announces a letter will be sent to the New Mexico Racing Commission executive director to accelerate granting a sixth racing license. The move aims to recover potential annual revenue up to 10 million dollars as lawmakers consider state funding cuts. Frost notes past efforts by the Quay County Gaming Authority and Coronado Partners LLC to obtain the license in 2007.
