Riders finish 900 mile Ride Across Texas at Tucumcari Roadrunner Inn
Cyclists completing a 900 mile endurance ride trickled into Tucumcari's Roadrunner Inn parking lot after a week of mud rain and 40 mph headwinds. Organizers say the non race event follows unpaved county roads for about 90 percent of the route from Texarkana Arkansas starting Nov 1. Sponsors include Spinistry and Oak Cliffs Bicycle Company with USA Cycling sanctioning the event.
