Tucumcari earns Lemelson MIT grant as students pursue STEM
Tucumcari High School stands out as New Mexico’s sole grant recipient this year in the Lemelson MIT InvenTeam program now in its 20th year. Principal Evans credits student work ethic and feasible ideas, with the team preparing for the Governor’s STEM Challenge and multiple robotics events. A final prototype will be shown at a MIT review in Tucumcari and later at EurokaFest in June.
