Memorial honors fallen Vietnam soldier Arturo Sisneros
In Roswell New Mexico veteran Louis Demers honored his fellow gunner Cpl Arturo Sisneros with a memorial at South Park Cemetery. Demers, who served in The Brave Cannons, met Sisneros in Vietnam and kept memories alive for 50 years despite survivor’s guilt. The May 10 ceremony drew family, veterans, and the Roswell Honor Guard to mark Sisneros’s 50th death anniversary.
