Quay County approves small salary raise in 2008 2009 budget
Primrose says salaries rise three percent for 70 county employees with a $37 000 increase in expenses. Total salaries: 1.9 million in 2008 2009 and 1.937 million in the next budget. Health care costs stay flat at 210 000 for employees in the state program but deductibles and co pays rise. The budget covers Medicaid indigent care Dan Trigg Memorial Hospital Presbyterian health center and a state health clinic building maintenance. DFA deadlines: preliminary by June 1 final by July 31.
