Arch Hurley Board Declines Extra Water Allocation
Arch Hurley Conservancy District directors voted on May 14 to withhold additional water while canals are prepared for prior allocations. Conchas Lake stood at 4172.9 feet, below the optimum 4174, delaying further releases. The May plan granted 2 inches per acre for farmers and ranchers. the manager foresees canal water in June.
