NMHED cabinet secretary Barbara Damron to deliver commencement remarks at Mesalands Community College where Ashlee Bradley will speak as student representative. Bradley, Tucumcari High School senior, earns an associate degree and nursing certifications, along with a full-tuition scholarship for up to four semesters. The event starts at 6 p.m. at the Tucumcari Convention Center.
The SBDC at Mesalands hosted the AARP Tax-Aid Program in February and March aiding low and moderate income taxpayers with emphasis on seniors.
