Arch Hurley approves six inches per acre irrigation allocation
Arch Hurley Conservancy district will allot six inches of water per acre for the current growing season once orders sustain a 40 feet per second flow for three days. The 43 000 acres served may have adjustments up or down based on rain or snow. Manager Franklin McCasland is authorized to shut off flow to conserve water during rain or for safety. Lake elevation Tuesday was 4177.23 feet, a foot below last March when first allocations in four years were made.
