Quay County approves special hospital gross receipts tax
The county enacts a special county hospital gross receipts tax of one eighth of one percent on business gross receipts with revenues dedicated to ambulance transport and rural health clinics. Exemptions include transport services for hire by rail road or air for care of the sick. The ordinance ties to the Gross Receipts and Compensating Tax Act and sets a delayed repeal in 2029.
