King recovering after shooting in Tucumcari parking lot
King remains in critical but stable condition in an Amarillo hospital after being shot in Tucumcari. Relative Molina said he was on life support for more than a week and is now able to talk. Robert W. Wynashe, 66, pled not guilty to seven felony counts including aggravated battery and shooting at a motor vehicle.

Curry County jail escapee sentenced to over nine years
A Clovis man Michael England 30 escaped Curry County jail last August and was sentenced Friday to more than nine years in prison. He received four years for escape and five and a half for tampering with evidence in a 2007 homicide. England pled guilty to destroying a gun used in the shooting of Emmett Salisbury. He was captured in Clovis in October after escaping with seven others via a plumbing shaft and roof access. Edward Salas remains at large.
